Bronzewound
is the Bluegrass music radio show on Community Radio,
WERU-FM, 89.9 Blue Hill and 102.9 Bangor. That's
in Maine. And we're also webcasting at
www.weru.org.
Be sure to tune in wherever you are.
I again sponsored the Bronzewound "After-Hours" showcase at the
2008 IBMA WOB in Nashville. I hope you had
the opportunity to visit the Bronzewound showcase.
See the schedule below.
It was packed with great performers.

Paul
Anderson began producing Bronzewound on WERU the same
week that the station began broadcasting in May of 1988. When Paul's job moved him out of the area in 1995, David Manski stepped in. David works for the National Park Service
and had been doing a Bluegrass radio show on Cape Cod.
He then became based at Acadia National Park on Mount
Desert Island, Maine.
Darwin Davidson had been doing some musician interviews
on Bronzewound with both Paul and David. David encouraged
him to do more, and in November 1997 Darwin began co-hosting
the show with David.
The
photographs in the
Bronzewound Gallery will show you a few of the places
where the Bronzewound hosts have been and who they've
talked to and gotten to know.
The
WERU logo at the top of this page is another link to the WERU
website where you will find other information about the
station. I hope you will consider joining over 1500 other
lovers of Community Radio and help support WERU.
